Celebrating the Red Door
For their 100th birthday, our client wanted a red-themed gala decor with light atmosphere, highlighting the red door from its brand origin. We created 1) 12-15 red Chihuly chandeliers with lighting inside them, 2) ca. 20 globe hanging kites with crystal and sheer-colored ribbons with uplights to make it look like a white comet tail with a glowing 6 foot red lantern as perimeter atmosphere, and 3) asymmetrical accent pieces for framing the stage. We designed, created and build everything ourself except for the comets with which we had help from Liz Turner from Painted Phoenix Events. Furthermore, we also entertained the guests during the event with strolling Balloon Art, Comedy and Magic.
